Features
A top-notch series of flexible current transformers is available, designed to gauge AC current for power metering, power quality analysis, and general applications. The Rogowski coil offers a flexible option in cases where there is limited space and a rope-style CT is needed to wrap around an irregularly shaped conductor or wire.
All measurements taken at a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius and a frequency of 60 hertz unless specified otherwise.
• Type: Flexible current transformer using a Rogowski coil and supplied with a conditioning circuit.
• Accuracy: Within 1.0% of the measured value when the current is between 5% and 120% of the rated current.
• Sensitivity to Conductor Position: Within 1.5% when measuring at the edge of the conductor.
• Phase Angle: Within ±0.50 degrees (30 minutes) when the current is between 5% and 120% of the rated current.
• Frequency: Nominal frequency of 50/60 hertz, and can be safely used at any frequency.
• Maximum Voltage: Can handle a maximum voltage of 600 volts AC.
• Maximum Over Range Current: Can handle a maximum over range current of 10,000 amps.
• Safety Standards: Meets CAT III safety standards for 600 volts AC.
• Meets UL standard 61010B-1.
• Conditioning Circuit Output: Outputs a voltage of 0.333 volts AC when measuring at the rated current.
• Output Wires: Consists of an 8-foot long (2.4 meters) twisted pair of 22 AWG wires, one white and one black.
• Coil Lead Length: The coil lead is also 8 feet long (2.4 meters).
• Power Requirements: Requires a power supply of 10-30 volts DC (recommended to use 12 volts DC or 24 volts DC), with a typical current consumption of 50 milliamperes and a maximum current consumption of 70 milliamperes.
• Operating Temperature: Can be operated within a temperature range of -20 degrees Celsius to +60 degrees Celsius (-4 degrees Fahrenheit to 140 degrees Fahrenheit).
• Suitable for indoor use, and can also be used outdoors when mounted in a NEMA 3R or 4 (IP 66) enclosure.
