1. Pay attention to the current direction of the coil, with one end of the coil cable head facing the grounding end;
2. The coil should be connected to the grounding terminal of the measurement circuit for use. The typical wiring diagram used in capacitor charging and discharging tests is shown in the following figure;
3. During testing, connect the cable directly to the cable head of the coil for measurement. If a long measuring cable is used, a 50 Ω matching resistor should be added at the end of the cable;
4. When measuring the discharge current of capacitors, attention should be paid to waveform changes. If there is a significant change in the ratio of positive to negative peaks, it indicates that the measurement range of the coil has been exceeded;
5. When measuring two or more coils at the same time, the metal parts between the coil shells should not touch each other (pay attention to insulating the coils), otherwise it will affect the accuracy of the test.
