SRC is a versatile current sensor that offers high linearity ranging from 1A to 100kA.
It has a wide dynamic range and is particularly useful for measuring current in large or irregularly shaped conductors, or in areas with limited access.
Unlike other transducers, there is no danger of damage from open-circuited secondary or large overloads.
Additionally, it is non-intrusive and does not draw power from the main source. The measurement uniformity is maintained regardless of the position of the conductor inside the coil, and it provides excellent rejection of external current conductors. With an IP67 protection level, it is highly durable. The flexible Rogowski coil design allows for customization according to customer requirements, making it suitable for various applications where traditional transducers are not suitable due to size or weight constraints. In summary, the flexible Rogowski coil is a convenient and effective solution for current measurement in situations where traditional transducers are not suitable.
SRC coil is provided with a shield against the influence of external magnetic fields, therefore it grants a stable measurement from low currents to hundreds of kA. The Rogowski coils must be connected to an electronic integrator for 90° phase shift compensation and frequency equalization. Our DIN-RAIL and panel meters can interface Rogowski coils directly without the need of the external integrators. This is an advantage because there is no external boxes or any power supply with consequent ease of use. The particular features of the Rogowski coils combined with the extremely flexible input programming of our portable meters, allow to carry out measurement by all applications.
