In the past, when the S1 and S2 of the current transformer were connected in reverse, the old mechanical energy meter would cause the phase to reverse. Modern intelligent energy meters only set the transformer ratio correctly, and even if one phase is connected in reverse, it would still move forward.
According to a query conducted by a woman in the development bank, if it is an old-fashioned mechanical energy meter in the past, when S1 and S2 of the current transformer are connected in reverse, it will cause the phase to reverse. One of the three phases will reverse, and when the three-phase load is balanced, the reverse and one of the forward rotation will cancel out, so it is equivalent to one phase running, so the electricity of the two phases is missing. If it is a modern intelligent energy meter, only the transformer ratio is correctly set, and even if one phase is connected in reverse, it will still move forward, It generally does not affect measurement.
Reverse connection of three-phase four wire meter transformers s1 and s2:
1. The current transformers S1 and S2 are connected in the three-phase four wire meter wiring. If they are reversed, the meter will run in reverse (the ammeter is fine, it will indicate the reading normally).
2. In a three-phase four wire meter, 2, 5, 8 are connected to the voltage lines of A, B, C, respectively. 1, 4, 7 are connected to S1, and S2 is connected to 3, 6, and 9. If 1 and 4 are connected to S1, 3 and 6 are connected to S2, and 7 is connected to S2. 9 is connected to S1, the meter will not short-circuit, but the measurement is inaccurate.
3. Correct connection method: The power A line passes through the core hole of the transformer with S1 and S2 end faces, and S1 and S2 are respectively connected to the 1 and 3 terminals of the electricity meter. The other phases of the electricity meter 2 terminal are the same through this power line.
