The installation steps for current transformers are as follows:

1. Before installation, check the integrity of the current transformer fasteners and confirm that the current transformer related tests have been completed and passed.

2. Clean the current transformer and blow dry the surface with dry gas.

3. Be careful to move the current transformer from above the outlet sleeve and slowly lower it to approach the outlet box.

4. Fix the screw of the current transformer and screw it in and out of the junction box by about 45mm. Tighten the screw with a nut and insert a washer. Then install the current transformer and insert the washer, screw in the nut and tighten it.

5. Assemble according to the serial number and sequence of the current transformers from the manufacturer, and the polarity of the current transformers should be correct during assembly. After the installation of each bushing current transformer is completed, the bolts should be uniformly adjusted and tightened to ensure even stress in all areas, and the gap between the transformer and the bushing should be kept uniform along the circumference.

6. Before screwing the screw used for installing the current transformer into the outlet box, apply a certain amount of butter to the screw that is screwed in.

Install the main outgoing line. Before installation, check that there is no damage to the contact surface of the high-voltage porcelain bottle, parallel ring, and main lead wire. The main lead wire has been pre installed and adjusted in position by the manufacturer. Before removing the main lead wire, all individual components should be marked.

7. Choose the appropriate fixing method according to the actual situation to fix the current transformer. Generally, current transformers are installed on metal frames; At the point where the busbar passes through the wall or floor slab, fix the current transformer directly to the wall or floor slab with foundation screws; Alternatively, the angle iron can be made into a rectangular frame and buried in the wall or floor slab. Then, an iron plate of the same size as the frame (about 4mm thick) can be fixed to the frame with screws or welding, and the current transformer can be fixed onto the iron plate.

8. When installing, the centers of the three current transformers should be on the same plane, and the spacing between each transformer should be consistent. Finally, the base of the current transformer should be well grounded.

9. When wiring, it is necessary to ensure that the installation of the current transformer is firm, and the metal exposed part of the transformer casing should be reliably grounded. The same set of current transformers should be installed in the same direction to ensure that the positive direction of the primary and secondary circuit currents of the same set of current transformers is consistent, and the nameplate should be easily observed as much as possible.

10. The secondary side of the current transformer is not allowed to open circuit. The secondary side must be grounded. When the direction of the primary current is opposite, the direction of the secondary current is also opposite. Be careful when wiring.

The installation of the current transformer can be completed through the above steps.
